Meera Raman, Artist-in-residence's artwork to be unveiled on external wall of Centre by Mayor on September 19th
Our new community center mural banner is ready, and we want you to be part of its big reveal!
Co-created by our Artist-in-residence, Meera Raman, and a few local teenagers, two large open hands form the focal center of the artwork, symbolising support, inclusion, welcoming warmth, and subtle scenes of shared community life. The design is framed by the beautiful cherry blossom tree that stands just outside our center, tying the artwork directly to our surroundings. This piece serves as more than just a decorative banner, it stands as a proud testament to the power of youth involvement, creative expression, and community unity.
